Case Study: Nashville Health

The Challenge

Develop a social media strategy and campaigns that help to increase brand awareness, amplify key messages and cultivate an online community around nonprofit organization Nashville Health and their mission of substantially improving the health and well-being of Nashvillians.

Our Solution

A week long UGC (user generated content) contest, #ImNashvilleHealthy, that encourages social sharing on Instagram and Twitter among Nashvillians who participate in healthy lifestyle choices, i.e. eating healthily, exercising, biking, walking, hiking, etc.

Nashvillians who posted a photo or video of themselves engaged in a healthy activity with the hashtag, #ImNashvilleHealthy on Instagram or Twitter were automatically entered in the contest for a chance to win a Nashville Health swag bag, full of healthy products to help them with their health goals. A winner was randomly selected daily and mailed a swag bag after the contest.

In addition, we partnered with local organizations YMCA of Middle TN and Healthier Tennessee to help increase community awareness and social sharing around the campaign.

The Results

The #ImNASHVILLEHEALTHY one week campaign garnered:

  • Over 40+ entries in the #ImNashvilleHealthy contest
  • 33.6K impressions across NH social platforms
  • Over 500 engagements across NH social platforms
  • A growth of 235 followers across NH social platforms
