Sabrina Merritt, Chief Strategist + Founder of October Social Media, is also the Co-Founder of Women Interactive Creative Technology Fest and a member of the International Academy of Arts and Sciences (producers of The Webbys).
Sabrina has previous experience as a social media manager at International NGO, CARE and Fortune 500 Real Estate Organization, The PulteGroup. She has also worked with numerous organizations including CSE, BreenSmith advertising, The Wilbert Group, The Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation, The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, Cool Girls, Girls Scouts of Greater Atlanta and City of Atlanta as a creator of social media curriculum and workshop facilitation.
In addition, Sabrina has been featured in Black Enterprise magazine and featured on two panels at SXSW as part of Black Founders programming.
Ashia R. Sims, Group Accounts Manager, is a Content Strategist by trade, storyteller and technology enthusiast by design. She is the Co-Founder of Women Interactive Creative Technology Fest. She has previously worked as a Digital Strategist at ST!R Marketing and Marketing Director at Uniquely Virtual, a SAAS-based business services company.
She has also provided educational services for organizations like the Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation, Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Cool Girls, Georgia State University and Imparture, a social media training organization.
Lauren Fitzgerald comes to OSM with a wide range of experience working with large companies like Coca-Cola and The Home Depot while also lending her skills to small start ups and nonprofits. She has experience in social media strategy, content creation, community management, paid social advertising, event activation and more. Prior to coming to the social side of marketing, Lauren worked in web design adding to her well rounded digital marketing skills.
Camile Ervin is a Georgia State University Graduate and has been working in the field of digital marketing for five years. Camile enjoys digital marketing strategy and community management and has worked with numerous brands including Chick-fil-A and Don Buyer Auto Group.
Camile resides in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoys all things vegetarian and almost any loose leaf tea she can find. You can usually find Camile reading a book or enjoying a beautiful day outdoors.
Jessica Morales, a University of Florida graduate, has been in the digital marketing industry for three years. She has worked with the Alachua County (FL) Humane Society, Florida Memorial Medical Center and local businesses. When she’s not brainstorming social media content, you can find her on the hunt for the next best place to grub in ATL or with her eye to the viewfinder of her Canon film camera.
Lauren Sengele joined October Social Media in June 2016 as a Social Media Account Manager. Her prior experience includes managing social media strategy, new product development and brand management at Jarden Corporation. When she's not reading about the latest social algorithms, Lauren spends her time reading, trying new foods and geeking out on nerd culture with friends. After living all over the world she now resides in Indianapolis, IN.
Stephanie Grant has over 10 years of writing and editing experience. Her experience with writing is diverse, ranging from aviation technical manuals to writing blog articles for homeowners. She has a natural talent for adapting her writing to the voice of different brands. Stephanie is an Atlanta native and lives right outside of the city with her husband and dog, Honey B. When she is not writing, you can find Stephanie at local breweries, cooking or curled up with a book.
HaJ is an Emmy-nominated writer, producer with over 15 years of creative direction and production management experience. HaJ has worked in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta creating impactful media content for broad and diverse audiences.
HaJ developed her craft through working at Sony Pictures as part of the development team, which produced the feature films, Jarhead, Stuart Little, Bewitched and the Academy Award nominated Memoirs of a Geisha. HaJ was a part of the literary management team at Brillstein Grey Partners that represent clients including Anthony Zuiker (creator of CSI), Bill Maher, Courteney Cox and Brad Pitt to name a few. HaJ has produced and written for commercial projects including for Centric/BET, VH1, Disney, ABC and CBS.
She has also coordinated logistics for product launches, themed events, interactive and training videos for clients including BMW, Mini Cooper, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer and Citi Bank. HaJ’s unique hybrid experience working in creative storytelling, technology and business development is what help name her Top 15 Tech and Branding Gurus by Madam Noire.
Amyr Heard is a unique creative, developing out of the box solutions for brands, with a particular skill for experiential and entertainment marketing and branded content.
Amyr's career has revolved around a passion for innovation, with her campaigns making an impact for various agencies, fashion industry professionals, luxury brands, and cosmetic and beauty companies, as well as for TV and Film. In her vast experience as a Marketing Lead, Amyr has led and worked on successful campaigns for high-profile companies such Toysmart.com, a subsidiary of Disney, and Passport to Play, a healthy initiative started by McDonald's.
She has also consulted on targeted campaigns for several NBC properties (The Voice, Chicago Fire, Revolution, Smash), Fast & Furious 6, Disney (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Queen of Katwe), Walmart, and Oxygen/Bravo.
Jolie Reardon has over ten years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Human Resources. She’s never seen a process she didn’t love and is a whiz at all things operations.
When she’s not tackling a spreadsheet or reconciling the books, she hanging out with her kids and family in Woodstock, GA.
